We are honored to share with you our incredible “edu-tainment” media project, on which we have been working for the past two years. The project is called TREE STAR, and it is an initiative of the P.A.L. Foundation.
Marcus von Skepsgardh, the Executive Director of P.A.L. Foundation, created this project, which will educate children through storytelling and imagery about the importance of preserving our trees and our planet.
We have recently completed the first phase of the project and launched the TREE STAR children's book in paperback format and Kindle. The book was written, illustrated and formatted with keen attention to the national and state educational standards so that it can be integrated into school programs and serve as a new enrichment platform and inspirational medium for students.
Our next steps are to work with like-minded organizations to explore ways to integrate the book into their programs or libraries, and to create workshops where children can explore the important subject matters that are presented in the book: sustainability, environmental preservation, ecology, recycling and more.
We also intend to have a book reading/signing event soon at the Mount Shasta library.
